A red squirrel with a beret named Eike graced us with a special beer in November 2022. With an alcohol content of 4.5%, this red beer is one of the lighter beers and has a pleasantly caramelly flavor.

Copenhagen 20/7 2025. 33 cl bottle from Die Genusswelt Stralsund, Mönchstraße, Stralsund. Simple white label with a squirrel wearing a beret.
Pours unclear golden amber with a small white head. Settles as a thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, toasted and burnt odor of malts mingling with a light sourish scent. Sweet caramel, toasted bread and toffee. Biscuits. Citrus and sour grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, oft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a tart undertone. Lingers for a bit Finish is semi-dry.
Sweet little squirrel.
