The Wild Boar (Der Wilder Eber), commonly referred to by hunters as a boar, is characterized by its imposing stature and unbridled power. Over the past few centuries, it has spread throughout the world.
Our Brown Ale is similarly strong yet adaptable. The malt flavor is the primary focus of our Wild Boar.
This makes it a perfect accompaniment to hearty game dishes as well as all other dishes prepared with red meat, and it's also the perfect accompaniment to chocolate-based desserts. Simply wickedly strong.

Copenhagen 24/7 2025. 33 cl bottle from Die Genusswelt Stralsund, Mönchstraße, Stralsund. Simple white label with a grumpy boar wearing a hunters hat.
Pours unclear dark mahogany with a small off-white head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a more subdued sourish scent. Biscuits, brown sugar and toffee. Hints of nuts. Whiff of sour grains.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is a bit tart with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit flat Brown Ale.
