Hellmut marches majestically through the forests of Mecklenburg.
This Helles is just as refined. It is distinguished by its full-bodied character paired with slightly bitter notes.
The perfect beer for an evening with friends and an all-rounder when it comes to pairing with food!

Copenhagen 27/7 2025. 33 cl bottle from Die Genusswelt Stralsund, Mönchstraße, Stralsund. Simple white label with a Stag smoking a pipe.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as a thin patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a citrus, sourish scent. Sweet pale malts and bread. Lemon and grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense for the style with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger, sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Wholesome and surprisingly bitter Helles.
