Outra Vez is one of our two contributions to Strong
Beer Festival 2023. Named after the bossa nova song of the same name, which translates to “one more time”, it makes you want to drink another one. With negroni-infused oak chips and a volume of 10%, this beer is no slouch. Fresh and dry. Bittersweet and raisined.

Copenhagen 6/5 2023. 50 cl bottle from BeerShoppen web-shop- Esbjerg Bryghus' usual design with a painting of what looks like Lava slowly moving.
Pours opaque, murky amber with a big off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with citrus fruit and barely hiding a scent of sweet, spicy alcohol. Toffee and caramel. Orange peel. Grapefruit. Whiff of sharp Campari.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, a bit greasy, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a quite strong harsh bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
A strange combination of a Cocktail and a potent beer.
