Refreshing cascade hop-forward number. A little flat on the palate but nice lingering floral notes and enough biscuit malt to keep things together. Punches above its 4.2%.

Notes from trip to Europe...
Clear, golden yellow pour. Average head.
Smells of citrusy/piney cascade hops. Faint pale malt.
Taste follows the aromas, some grainy malt coming through. Nice.
Classic cask mouthfeel. Very drinkable and tasty.
Nice to get some cascade hops in an English bitter.

Got this on cask from my local (The Bull, Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln).
Appearance: Pours with a light amber colour and a decent creamy white head. No apparent carbonation.
Aroma: Sweet and fruity on the nose, with slightly nutty malts in the background.
Taste: There is a definite floral bitterness to the taste. Very big on the hops, with a perfumy twang. There is also mild fruity citrus flavours behind the bitter hops.
Mouthfeel: This is a medium bodied bitter, delivering a slightly chewy, flat feel.
Drinkability: This is the first beer I have had from the Oldershaw Brewery, even though I have lived about 20 miles from the brewery my whole life. Anyway, a decent offering on cask, refreshing and flavoursome.
