Only once a year is there an opportunity to brew a green hop beer (wet hop beer). While otherwise dried hops or pellets are used, this special brew is made with hops that are freshly picked and added to the beer. In our case, around 1800g of Hallertauer Mittelfrueh was used for 1 hl of beer. Incidentally, these hops are harvested in Prittlbach. The result is a beer with fruity notes reminiscent of mandarins at the forefront. Only in the finish do you recognize the spicy notes you are used to from Mittelfrueh.
