Half on cask at Shambles in York. Pours deep ruby brown with small creamy head that partially coats glass. Nose has more roasted malt character than expected, along with fruity malts and just a light touch of hops. Taste is quite fruity and drops some of the roasted character from the nose. Hops is just enough to balance it out. Overall, an unexpectedly tasty beer.
