It is our first recipe of Oatmeal Imperial Stout totally based on German Specialty Malts (Weyermann). Well-balanced and flavorful Oatmeal Imperial Stout aged in cognac barrels. Light woody and vanilla notes, dried fruits and caramel hints.
It is delicate clean cognac straight beer.

Dark brown color. One-finger thick, beige head. Roasted malt, toffees, cognac barrels, and some alcohol in the aroma. Soft and heavy. Roasted bitterness and warming alcohol in the end.

Copenhagen 20/12 2022. 33 cl waxed bottle from DrikBeer web-shop. Simple black label with the name and description of the beer in gold and white.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing,
Aroma is intense with a sweet, malty, dark odor mingling with a scent of dark alcohol with a sharp edge. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar and toffee. Warming brandy. Sourish and sharp notes.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, sticky, viscous, yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Boozy. Lingering. Finish is rather dry.
A heavy and sharp barrel boozer.
