Copenhagen 11/12 2022. 33 cl waxed bottle from DrikBeer web-shop. Simple black label with the name and description of the beer in red and white.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing,
Aroma is intense with a sweet, sugary odor mingling with a scent of dark alcohol and earthy notes. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar and toffee. Sweet and warming Bourbon. Earthy notes of wood, humid basement and leather.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, creamy, viscous, yet lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undertone. Searing. Lingering. Finish is rather dry.
A heavy Ukrainian boozer I could sip forever. A small bottle lasts for quite a while.
