Pale golden brew with plenty of foam in the Orval chalice. Aromatic with lime peel and a hint of rose petals. Slightly sweet with a crisp fruity tang. Flavors of grapefruit with some peel in the finish. Finishes with a modest but persistent bitterness. This is actually one of the best "Session" type IPAs I've had. It's perhaps more of a Pale Ale but its tops for drinkability. From the 350 ml can purchased in Kanazawa.

Hazy straw to gold color. Minor head that becomes rim bubbles. Some small streaks and infrequent spots for lace.
Clean hop pellet smell, light pale malt, some cream.
Creamy flavor up front that diminishes as the green raw hop starts to take over. The combo works even if it reminds me more of a homebrew than a brewery brew. Decent body, particularly for a Session Ale. The finish is nearly all hop but it isn’t extreme. Longer aftertaste.
