Darkening copper color. Clear. Smaller head but it does leave an occasional spot.
The smell is mostly of semisweet caramel. There is a faint background smoky aroma as well.
The semisweet, lightly roasted malt holds up throughout the tasting. Full bodied with an average carbonation level. The hop is subdued, particularly for an IPA. The finish leans to the malt but the bittering hop lingers longer in the aftertaste.
