Copenhagen 17/12 2022. 33 cl bottle from H. J. Hansen Vin, Vestergade, Odense.Simple dark green label with a big white #11 and Anders Coisbo's signature.
Pours opaque murky dark amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and boozy odor of fermented fruit mingling with a more subdued scent of citrus fruit. Mango, passion fruit and overripe peach. Grapefruit. Sharp edge of alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a prominent tang of alcohol. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Potent and rather sweet.
