The famous brewmaster Anders Coisbo has teamed up with the head chef at Falsled Kro, Per Hallundbæk.
The new organic beer is described as "a fresh and refreshing Pale Ale that balances the bitterness of the hops with the fresh, elegant taste of elderflower and ginger. But also a Pale Ale with a bit of edge.

Copenhagen 3/1 2018. 75 cl bottle from Fazer. Very simple and Austere label just saying the essentials - the name, ingredients, ABV and type of beer.
Pours hazy amber with big frothy white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate Lacing.
The aroma is actually of Elderberry and Ginger. The sweet elderberry provides a delicate sweetness while the ginger is a little bit in the background with its aroma of toothpaste. A quite herbal experience.
Light carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by medium herbal bitterness from the ginger. Aftertaste is bitter ginger.
I am no great fan of neither elderberry or ginger - but it actually works pretty good together. A bit too herbal for my taste buds - but not bad.
