The light blonde color is reminiscent of a Belgian wheat beer, a “witbier.” Unlike the Belgian original, the fruity aroma of pineapple and mandarin is achieved by using the hop varieties Herkules, Tettnanger, Mandarin Bavaria, and German Cascade, grown in Hallertau.
The fine Bavarian wheat beer yeast used for fermentation also adds a pleasant fruity note.
A fine wheat beer, somewhere between Belgium and Bavaria, in the tradition of the Brauwerkstatt, unfiltered and natural.
