Copenhagen 8/4 2019. 50 cl bottle from Ølhandleren in Give (Web-shop). Label is dark green with a hop cone in sketchy rendering. Very hand drawn and classic.
Pours slightly unclear dark maroon with small off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is quite sweet and a little metallic. Brown sugar. Hard roasted malts. Caramel. Hints of licorice. Sharp sourish notes rummaging in the background.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet - almost sugary - and a little burnt.
A bit too sugary for my taste buds. But i like the roasted - almost burnt quality.
