On-tap 8/23/09 at the brewpub Providence, RI, served in a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a dark amber color, with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma is of caramelized malts, citrus and some hops.

T: The taste is sweet up front with flavors of caramel and citrus that are followed by a strong but not over-powering hops presence. The malt character is hearty and there's a decent balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.

M: Smooth and crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

D: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a good sessionable beer with some substance that is worth drinking for a while.

A clean dark golden ale with a good white head that leaves a nice lace. The aroma is light with some malty and biscuity characteristics. The taste started with a light malty sweetness that gave way gradually to a nice even hop bitterness. Which made for a nice dry finish.

Pours a golden amber, topped with a one finger white head, leaves thin sheets of lacing.
Snappy citrus hops, toffee, lemon and flowers.
Citrus hop taste, husky grain, grass, flowers, biscuit, dextrin, citrus zest.
Medium bodied, crisp and a bit oily. Just an average beer, and I think this is their "flagship"

Golden in color with a thin 1/2" head. Carbonation levels seemed strong which was baffling why there was such a small head. The aroma was non existant. The flavor was mellow as some mild malt levels, very light bitterness, and grassy tones came out but were thin on the tastebuds. The mouthfeel was slightly crisp and had a clean dry finish. Drinkable if you want a light flavored beer for the masses.

Glass holds a deep honey gold-amber with no head. The aroma is slight and hints at a dryness to come. The aroma does not lie. An initial moderate bitterness pairs with a dry malt and mild hop spice. The hops are mild, but still have enough presence to overshadow any distinctive malt that may be present. Very much like the Light Lager, but with a bit more caramalt.
