On-tap 6/10/2015 at the brewpub in Providence, RI, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a cloudy light gold color, with a thin white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains piney hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a strong piney hops bitterness. Then a strong citrus sweetness quickly follows with grapefruit and orange flavors. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and does not bring much balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Flavorful, goes down ok, not too filling, decent kick, decent representation of style, juts a mediocre IPA overall.
