On-tap 2/6/2017 at the brewpub in Providence, RI, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a short off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains grassy hops, citrus and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a burst of grassy hops bitterness that is quickly followed by sweet flavors of caramel and citrus. The malt character is hearty and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid IPA to drink for a while.
