Poured on tap. Went to Trinity and there were no seats at the bar- or in the dining area. Came here and it's a quarter full. Hmmm.

No head. Pale body. Slight hoppiness, hard to nail down, orangey I guess. Beer is too cold. Cold, wet corn, vegetal. Bah. Lingering bitterness on the finish. Nothing I enjoy. Moderate carbonation. Again way too cold and no pleasantness to the lingering taste. Bah. Let's slog though this to get to something else.

All in all Union STation is inferior to the other brewpub in Providence, which is Trinity. However this one was alright.

Light amber colored with a 1/4 inch head that quickly dissipates.

Taste is sweet upfront with a strong hop smack that dominates and lingers. Tastes of peach, apricot and grapefruit.

All in all a pretty solid IPA, and a HUGE improvement over their previous "rusty griswold) which was gastly. Not as good as Trinity's RIPA but if your by the old train station give it a whirl.

Poured brown with a slight orange hue. Slight white head that struggled for any retention before eventually surrendering. Nose was almost non-descipt with just some bits of citrus and a slight hop presence rising out.

Slightly out of balance with the hops predominating over the malts. Needs mroe of a malt base to be a particularly note-worthy IPA. But still worth trying if you find yourself at Union Station. Malts came across as very subdued with more of an oaky character than anything else. Medium mouthfeel and just a tad thin. However, all-in-all it was still an easy drinking IPA.
