Had at the Providence location with the following description: "Hazy Pale Ale dry hopped with citra and belma. Citrus forward with background tropical fruit notes."
This hazy pale ale style is one I have only recently started to get into and did this one ever deliver! The pour had little to no head and looked pretty typical: hazy pale straw colored. The scent however brought forth a very balanced citric and hoppy profile -- including subtle hints of stone fruit and other tropical flavors. The taste is where this really shined, with a citric taste up front that transitioned to a bit of hoppiness to conclude with a wonderful flavor from the belma hops (melon, stone fruit, and less citric fruit flavors). A shame I was only passing through, because this would be an easily drinkable beer for almost any time.
