On-tap 6/28/09 at the brewpub in Providence, RI, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep amber color, with a short off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is of caramelized malts, tea, some citrus and some hops.
T: The taste is malty up front with sweet flavors of caramel and citrus, followed by a mild hops presence that brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Smooth but not too crisp and a little watery, medium body, light-to-medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
D: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, not the best representation of style, it's a decent beer but not one that I could drink for too long.
