On-tap 6/28/09 at the brewpub in Providence, RI, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light reddish brown color, with a thin off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is faint but contains caramelized malts, tea a little citrus and a little hops.
T: The taste is malty up front with sweet flavors of caramel and some citrus. The hops presence is strong but not over-powering and there's some tea in the background. The after-taste is slightly sticky.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
D: Tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, decent kick, good representation of style, this is a very solid beer that is worth drinking for a very long time.
