On-tap 6/28/09 at the brewpub in Providence, RI, served in a flight sampler glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is of light but bready malts and a faint touch of hops, but overall it's pretty faint.
T: The taste is very bready up front, followed by some malt sweetness and a very mild hops presence. There's just not very much to this beer to describe. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.
M: Very crisp and a little smooth, light body, medium-to-high carbonation, finish is clean.
D: A little tasty, goes down easily, not filling at all, very mild kick, it's comparable to the better macro beers but it's not a beer that I would drink consistently.
