On-tap 12/12/2011 at the brewpub, in Providence, RI served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a very cloudy (I was told the beer is “unfiltered”) light gold color with a short white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin on the glass.
S: The aroma contains wheat, citrus, spices, some Belgian yeast and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out with bready flavors of wheat and Belgian yeast up front. Then sweet flavors of citrus, bananas and spices come in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy. The hops presence is mild but complementary and provides a good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, this is a decent beer to pound for a while.
