Copenhagen 16/8 2021. 50 cl bottle brought home from the brewery by my in-laws. Nr. Nissum's usual design with the deer with antlers on a white label. This time with a dark brown banner.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small and bubbly beige head. Settles as thin - almost transparent - patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense but gets a bit stronger as the beer warms up. Almost candy-like sweet odor mingling with coffee and earthy notes. Caramel, toffee, chocolate. Cardboard and burnt sugar.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitter undertone. Lingers shortly. Semi-dry finish.
Very light and a bit watery take on a Porter.
