On tap at the brewpub in the University District, Albuquerque. Golden color in the nonic glass. Starts out quite carbonated but dissipates to not much at all.
A very light beer. As it warms some sweet malt comes through. The Belgian flavors also emerge shyly. The malty warmth is quite pleasant, along with some mild yeastiness. A thoroughly drinkable Belgian-inspired brew. This would be the ideal American Blonde Ale. That touch of funky yeastiness is just right for a light beer. [Transcribed from notes of 02/13/2013 visit].
