16 ounce can, no dating that I noticed on it, but I think it's from over the past few months or so since SIP changed to being Counterbalance brewing. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a somewhat clear amber color with about an inch or so frothy off-white head that stuck around a while. Decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like toasted malt, caramel, breadiness and some earthy/floral hops. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some toffee flavors. I thought everything was well balanced, and there was more hoppiness than I expected. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this one, it's a tasty Oktoberfest brew that's worth trying!

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This very nice marzen pours a
deep amber with a moderate head of white foam that subsides to
a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and sports some light lacing. Nose
of nicely toasted malts, bread crust, definite biscuit, rich caramel, and light
floral hop notes. Flavors give a great presentation of the nose with
caramel, biscuit, toffee, bread crust, and light floral hops. Mouth
feel is medium, medium light carbonation, smooth, lightly
creamy, and finishing lightly sweet.
Overall, a stellar brew from a new to me brewery!
Cheers
