Single 16 ounce can from new Alberta brewery.
Slightly cloudy mahogany pour with a finger plus of tawny to tan coloured head.
Malt forward on the nose - caramel, a bit of toast, dark fruit, perhaps a hint of chocolate and just a subtle whiff of smoke.
Sweet bready caramel malt on the palate with a touch of fruitiness, toffee notes and that little bit of chocolate.
Medium mouthfeel with reasonably bright carbonation - slightly sweet toasty finish.
