Sour Ale inspired by Cherry Cupcakes with Coffee. Jam-packed with cherries, a touch of vanilla and aged on Colombian El Porvenir coffee beans, roasted by amazing Koppi.

Copenhagen 5/9 2022. 33 cl tall slim can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of two happy cupcakes with cherries on top on the red can.
Pours opaque murky burgundy with a mid-sized pink head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sugary candy-like odor mingling with tart notes. Whipped sweet cream, white sugar and cherries. Thin scent of citrus peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Rather thick, soft, smooth, viscous texture. Gently tingling.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A very sweet nose with a pastry streak but quite well-balanced flavor.
