Marielyst 12/10 2024. 44 cl cm from Mad & Vin, Magasin, Kbh. K. Kneeling guy in a hoodie wearing sunglasses on the white can.
Pours opaque, milky, pale yellow with a big fluffy white head. Stable. Settles as uneven lumpy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense. A bit dampened by the foam. Sweet Stone fruit with a whiff of something fermented.peach and mango. Zesty citrus fruit. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and citric. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Pretty light and zesty for a DIPA.
