I bought it for the name and it’s Christmas. But the beer is pretty horrible.

12oz bottle. Amber color with two fingers of white head. Piney hop smell. Medium feel, a little sticky. Piney hop taste with a lingering tea-like bitterness. A little on the harsh side for IPAs.

Seems like it's almost a winter warmer type xmas-y beer blended with a pale ale or IPA. Different, but enjoyable. Will not have any problem finishing the six pack. I like this brew and this brewery.

Less an IPA, more a "lets just add a bunch of hops to a beer and see what happens". Astringent and unbalanced, with seemingly no nuance or care put forth towards any shred of balance. Reminds me of what homebrewers try to pass off as their first IPA

I like this beer. Nice and subtle and I enjoy the balance of the malts and hops. Nothing to write home about, but overall I think it's decent and drinkable.

Excited to be the first to review this new IPA from Alamo Beer Co. In San Antonio!
I had this out of the bottle at my cousins' place on Thanksgiving in San Antonio. They usually keep a fridge stocked with a few decent crafts, and this was the most intriguing option on hand. Can't say much about appearance because I didn't see it, but the bottle is attractive.
The smell is hoppy and fruity with some sweetness. Lacks usual citrus/pine IPA flavors, which makes sense being a Christmas seasonal. Taste is hop-forward with fruit undertones. Bitterness is readily present but pleasing.
Overall, a solid IPA with a fruity Christmas twist. I think this will be well-received, and I look forward to trying it again!
