Super bright beer; almost fluorescent yellow. Recommended serving cold, so I poured a 33 degree bottle into my favorite glass, a Spiegelau IPA Glass with a Real Ale logo. Decent white head that quickly dissipated with no lasting lacing. Aroma is clean with noble hop character with maybe the first hint of a peach note that doesn't finish.
Flavor is very clean, tart, crisp, and mineraly. Very light bodied and dry with a bit of astringency. Seems decently hoppy (bitter, with faint herbal, and slightly spicy mineral flavor); I'd guess near 30 IBU's but that could be influenced by how dry and clean the finish is. Very much like a well done Pils; with even less body.
I would enjoy a bit more malt or body for balance, but that is a personal preference. Hard to find any malt flavor at all. Warming has mellowed it a bit while slightly decreasing its thirst-quenching nature. If you like Heineken, give this one a try!
