Smooth fine tiny bubbles capped a hazy yellow brew.
Really pungent, spicy hops dominate all the way.
I've gotten this in sixers locally, and it's every bit as good canned as on tap.
Alamo brewery, too bad Davey Crockett didn't stop here first.

From a can picked up at the brewery. Orange color with a finger of white head. Faint citrus smell. Medium body. Some honey sweetness and tropical fruit flavors. Tasty!

Average ipa from this San Antonio brewer. Pours an orangey gold with light white head. Nose is faint mango, hay, and papaya. Medium bitterness and carbonation. Not crazy about the plastic cups they use to serve. Clean finish.

clever name, pretty straight ahead beer, although i am never going to be critical of a solidly made mosaic ipa, which is exactly what we have here. its a little bigger and fuller than a lot of them, and the extra heft helps the mosaic hang around. its really the on site freshness and late kettle and dry hopped mosaic goodness that make this beer for me. seems like little more than a pale two row base on the grain side, golden and clear and roundly medium bodied. aroma distinctly of mosaic, pineapple, preserved lemon, and a green vegetal leafy freshness, summery almost to me here. pollen and honey notes in the flavor, bright citrus, and just a bit of balancing bitterness, but almost more in the pale ale range on the bitterness, mellow and drinkable, except for its strength. nothing much at all from the yeast, but the finish is pretty clean, a light mineral thing at the end that i picked up in a few of their others here. overall a pretty standard, but quite good ipa, a nice showcase of this hop too if you have been living under a rock and are somehow unfamiliar with mosaic...
