Copenhagen 5/12 2022. 50 cl bottle from Craft Makers Collective web-shop. What looks like a telescope rendering of distant stars on the label.
Pours slightly unclear maroon with a red hue. Huge white head. Settles 3 clm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet, malty, toasted odor - bordering on being sugary - mingling with dark fruits. Caramel, toffee and toasted bread. Plums marinated in brown sugar, raisins and figs.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Sweet nose and bitter aftertaste. Not bad.
