Copenhagen 14/8 2022. 50cl bottle from Craft Makers Collective. What looks like a colorful haze of stars on the label.
Pours opaque, murky amber with big white head. Settles as thin patch of foam floating into middle of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, caramel, malty odor mingling with sharp citric notes. Dry vibe. Caramel, toffee and hints brown sugar. Grapefruit and lemon. Touch of pine.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Solid and a bit old-fashioned.
