On draught at the brewery. Served in a snulip glass. It is a very attractive pour: hazy, dense, bright burnished orange with a large, creamy, milk-white head and lots of thick, clinging lacing. The smell is robust with notes of lemon, tangerine, pineapple, ripe melon, and floral hops. But its taste is decidedly tart and bitter. The hop bill isn't publicized but I'm tasting lots of lemon and grapefruit rind up front. While the citrus is balanced by some sweeter pineapple and melon, the biting hop bitterness prevails in a good way, leaving a sharp, bitter aftertaste. Storm's best attribute is its mouth feel: thick, almost chewy, with medium carbonation, and it punches above its 8% ABV. Overall, Storm is a tasty and enjoyable DIPA. I'm hoping the brewery publicizes its hop bill. Cans were sold out but I'll buy them when they are available again.
