Copenhagen 11/7 2021. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Green label with play dough letters spelling the name of the beer.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover much of anything. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet almost candy-like odor mingling with coconut in abundance. Dark chocolate, brown sugar, chocolate cake. Very distinct coconut. Some ominous dark alcohol lurking.
Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, fat, creamy, flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong, heavy sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and soaked in coconut. Lingering. Finish is sweet and boozy.
Nice Imperial Stout - but they are taking the donut thing pretty far.
