This is a bottom-fermented version of our classic Hindbær Lakrids Ale. Expect a malt-dominated beer, with Raspberry in the nose and the initial taste experience. Then the malt takes over, followed by the licorice creeping in. A delightful beer for a quiet moment of contemplation.
Should be served at 6-8 degrees in goblet-shaped glasses.

Copenhagen 4/1 2022. 44 cl can from Beerlivery web-shop. Black can with Thyras Bryg's usual design with the name of the beer in red and the name of the brewery in white.
Pours unclear, dark amber with a big big white head. Settles as a uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surfface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, candy-like artificial odor of sweet berries. Raspberry, sugar. A bit perfumed. Modest hinted of licorice.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and a little thin. Notable bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit on the artificial side - and could use a healthy dose of licorice.
