Copenhagen 10/4 2023. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. Simple black label with the name of beer and brewery in gold.
Pours unclear amber with a huge white head. Bubbly. Settles a thin patches of foam swimming about. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with sweet stone fruit and sour citrus fruits. Toffee, caramel and toasted bread. Peach. Grapefruit and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling and a bit fizzy texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is tart with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit malty but pleasant enough without any surprises.
