Sønderborg 5/4 2023. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. Black label with gold letters and a hop flower surrounded by corn ears.
Pours unclear murky orange with a big head. Stable. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with an odor of sweet malts mingling with a citric scent. Sweet pale malts, bread , ripe pears and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a sourish undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit fruity and quite sweet.
