Copenhagen 31/7 2025. 75 cl bottle with a cork stopper from Drik Beer web-shop. Simple white label with fuzzy drawing of a pig.
Pours opaque murky burgundy with a mid-sized pink head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a light sweet odor of ripe fruit soon overpowered by a tart scent of sour green apples and tart berries. Red grapes and currants. Tart gooseberries. Whiff of vinegar. Wooden and vinous.
Strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture. On the verge of being fizzy.
Flavor is medium intense with a moderately strong sweetness followed by a strong, tart sourness. Aftertaste is tart and a bit acerbic, Lingers ror a while. Finish is dry.
Sharp but not brutal. Vinous and tart wild ale.
