Copenhagen 14/8 2020. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly, Søtorvet, Silkeborg. Drawing of the Himmelbjerg tower on the label.
Pours unclear golden amber with a small white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a light roasted scent. Caramel and biscuits. Roasted malts. Light grainy sourness.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Lingers shortly. Sweetish finish.
Biscuity yet bitter. But also flat and a bit thin.
