A 16 ounce draft pour into an Irish Pint glass at the brewery.
Look- Pale gold, creamy white head, moderately hazy, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Melon, clementine, weak strength of scent.
Taste- Clementine, cantaloupe, white grape, peach, herbaceous, slight oxidation, between medium and high strength of flavor.
Feel- Between medium and full body, slightly above average carbonation, moderately bitter, mildly creamy.
Overall- The appearance of this beer was top notch. The feel was above average for the style. The bouquet was simple and weak in strength. The flavor was much more intense than the nose with a fair amount of complexity, but oxidation introduced some off characteristics. Overall this beer had some really great aspects, but the oxidation really affected the flavor profile.
