Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled.
Black colored body. Creamy, beige colored head. Leaves behind webs of lacing.
Aroma of roasted malts, citrus, and a touch of pine.
Taste follows the nose with slight bitterness from the roasted malts (besides the minor char there is also sweetness). Orange and grapefruit citrus plus a background note of pine. In the aftertaste the malts fade a bit and the citrus/pine get sweeter. Some small swirls of chocolate add in.
Medium mouthfeel. Clean finish, and the pine is crisp. Very good carbonation.
Fits for style and the different flavors blend together well.
