Hærvejs Nat is a licorice stout that is black as night.
The beer is brewed with pure licorice, which completes the taste and remains as pure enjoyment.

Billund 17/7 2020. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. HumlePraxis’ usual simple design with the little hop flower in dark green.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big off-white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor mingling with salty licorice. Brown sugar and caramel. Salt licorice and peat.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a salty undercurrent. Lingers for a bit.
Sticks to the concept. They manage to get the licorice across. Not much else.
