Copenhagen 10/11 2020. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middlefart. Humlepraxis' usual design with the hop flower this time with deep green borders.
Pours unclear, golden copper with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with a bit of citrus and sugar. Caramel and sugar. Gooseberries and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sour twist. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Quite bitter for an Amber Ale. But refreshing and dry if bit out of character.
