'The Ex' isn't always easy to handle, and this one is no exception. Full amber body and very generous heaps of hops gives you a beer that takes a bit to handle.
This beer is a gift to beer lovers, but as all exes it can be too bitter for some.

Copenhagen 19/1 2020. 44 cl can from Beerlivery (web-shop). Drawing of a photo with a heart torn in two pieces on the can. Light blue background.
Pours slightly unclear, reddish amber with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense, sweet and fermented and with lighter citric notes. Fermented exotic fruit. Papaya an mango. Sweetness and decay. Light notes of citrus and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
Decent, solid, fairly light and civilized DIPA.
