We canned our first beer in 2016 with a mission: To create a beer that does more than just taste great, but also is fully brewed, owned and sold in the Pacific Northwest. We know there are other options out there but we are proud to be completely independent and locally owned. Without any corporate backing, we have to start small but appreciate sharing our beer with you.
We proudly brew our beer in the Pacific Northwest. A lot of similar beers are brewed thousands of miles away and owned by huge corporations headquartered even further. We are pleased to bring the ownership and brewing back to our wonderful backyard.
Thanks for your support and cheers to you!

16 oz can from Boise Co-op. Pours out a mwfium golden, foamy head is gone in an insant, sits there dull and flat. Aroma is non existent, not bad, just nothing. Taste is flat, mealy grains, uninteresting, pasty. No finish either. Just a weak, bland lager.

16oz can purchased at Huckleberry's, in Spokane, WA, for $1.39. No indication it is brewed at Minhas. Address on the can is a Seattle one, and their website says it's brewed in Tukwilla.
Not going to bother reviewing this with a fine tooth comb. Basically, this is an AAL. Other then having pretty decent clarity, there's nothing noteworthy about this beer. Except, perhaps, the price, which is pretty reasonable for 16 oz of beer these days.

this is brewed for some upstarts volume play called premium northwest, and this appears to be their flagship beer, but this is where its made, as those cats dont seem to have a facility of any kind, this is just a contract brewed cheap lager, like a montucky or something, at least from what i gather, someone correct me if i am wrong. the thing is though, the beer is pretty decent, especially for the price, i mean its just a yellow beer, but it doesnt taste adjuncty or metallic or sweet or cheap to me, it tastes crisp, relatively fresh, and might have just slightly more hops to it than most of its peers. its obviously trying to be a new pbr or something, but the flavor of the beer is better than a lot of what else is out there in this field, and it was refreshing and easy going with good pizza. its more craft tasting than others for sure, not more robust, just less sort of mass produced to me, more hands on, although i dont know if thats actually true, especially given this contract relationship. im not super into the politics of my beer anymore, like i still enjoy what firestone makes even though they arent independent, for example, so i dont really care about what kind of business or facade this premium northwest thing is, the beer in the can is cheap and decent, so i welcome it to the market here in idaho...
