Wet Snout Vanilla Coffee Stout

On draught at the brewery. Served in a tulip glass. The appearance is classic: deep mahogany in color with over a half finger cap of creamy, light-mocha-colored foam. Its fragrant nose features roasted malt, freshly-brewed coffee, vanilla bean, and whiffs of caramel, tobacco smoke, and char. The taste is coffee-forward: acidic but nicely balanced by roasty malt, vanilla, and burnt nuts. The flavors blend well. This Stout's mouth feel is a little on the thin side with low/moderate carbonation, and it is very easy to drink at 7% ABV. Overall, this is a well-crafted Stout. I enjoyed it.
