A typical Brown Ale, very dark and a fantastically beautiful foam.
Brown Deer gives a complex taste experience of nuts, chocolate and caramel.
The beer is gently hopped, which balances the good taste without too much bitterness.
Here you get a beautiful, delicious and easy-drinking beer.

Rindby 15/5 2020. 37,5 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. Simple label in West Brew’s usual design with the little Light House and a deep dark brown stripe with the name of the beer.
Pours opaque dark brown with a very big, off-white, yellow-ish head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor mingling with earthy fumes and a bit of nutty notes. Brown sugar, caramel. Humid basement. Hazelnut and leather.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, silken, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is a bit thin. Sweetish with a light sourish undercurrent. Semi-dry finish.
Smooth and with an inviting smell. A bit thin in flavor.
